Dallas was just waiting for Maxine Trowbridge to get here. With all the fashion-conscious people in the area, there was no central online resource for fashion events or industry news for high-end shoppers. So Trowbridge started Dallas-based PinkMemo LLC, an online fashion magazine, in 2007. The site already receives more than 50,000 unique visitors per month — proof positive that Dallas residents anxiously awaited the London-born and educated Trowbridge to bring them this fashion portal. Educated at the London College of Fashion at the University of Arts London, Trowbridge designed for a British luxury fashion house before moving to the United States 12 years ago.
