"I got a bronze Italian 1940's Gabriella Crespi desk with orange leather insets that is amazing. What's cool about him is the way he curates everything with a sense of humor, and a lot of guts. It's not subtle or demure, but then again neither is Mexico City. For the quality, mix and taste, Liebsohn's gallery is unlike anything I've ever seen anywhere in the world. He is also a great party host!"

"The other place I can't miss is called Chic by Accident, owned by Franco-Mexican Emmanuel Picault, also in the Roma neighborhood. Emmanuel has incredible mid-century Mexican furniture that he salvages from 1960's and 1970's houses, restores and sells at his showroom. We have several pieces from him at home, my favourite an Arturo Pani console made out of metal and antique mirror. The space is very whimsical, and definitely very surrealist."
