Suburban Style
Manhattan’s not lower New York’s only shopping Mecca. Grab a ticket on the Metro North and head out of the city because these boutiques (and a “mall” too) make the ‘burbs' a major shopping destination.

Tru Grace Fashion Lounge
Everyone’s been talking about Tru Grace Fashion Lounge since it opened its doors in the Westchester County town of Armonk. Located just 45 minutes outside New York City, this stop offers a selection of cool brands like Peter Som, Rag and Bone, and Pucci showcased in a gallery-like setting with a lounge space.

Location: 419 Main St, Armonk, NY
Call: (914) 273-9600
Visit: www.trugracefashion.com

On the One
In the kitschy Northern Westchester town of Mt. Kisco, you’ll find a shop that boasts an edited selection of couture for customers who mostly have migrated from Manhattan. With brands like M Missoni, Milly and Diane Von Furstenberg, it’s department store selection and personal service– without sifting through racks and racks to find the covet-worthy pieces.

Location: 153 Main St, Mt. Kisco, NY
Call: (914) 666-7787
Visit: www.ontheonemountkisco.com

Industry
Dress-down day at work is a breeze with Industry’s comprehensive collection of designer denim. Shoppers are also scooping up the embellished hoodies, tissue-thin tees, and faves by Chappaqua’s own Stacey Bendet’s Alice + Olivia line. Plus, this new store is already getting star buzz. America’s Next Top Model Winner Whitney Thompson recently stopped by for a shopping trip and autograph signing with fans, who lined up outside to meet their idol.

Location: 50 Livingstone Avenue, Dobbs Ferry, NY
Call: (914) 478-8200

Lululemon Athletica
Is getting in shape your New Year’s resolution? Well you’ll need some fabulous fitness-wear first so why not try the yoga-wear that Jessica Alba, Kelly Ripa and Lisa Rinna are bending over backwards for? All of the brand’s cult fitness-favorites are featured in their new Greenwich, CT outpost plus lots more, inspired by yoga, (but fit for any activity).

Location: 151 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, CT
Call: (203) 622-5046
Visit: www.Lululemon.com

The Westchester
Ask almost anyone who knows the platinum place to shop outside of 5th avenue and they’ll tell you its The Westchester. Located in the swanky suburban county’s seat, it looks like a mall, but don’t call it one – this 890,000 square foot destination simply goes by The Westchester. With stores like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Ferragamo, Barney’s Co-Op and Neiman Marcus, this marble-adorned sky-lit Mecca is any shopper’s dream. If you stop by, you might spot a celebrity too – New York Yankee legend (and Westchester resident) Mariano Rivera recently stopped by the new NIKEiD Studio store.

Location: 125 Westchester Avenue, White Plains, NY
Call: (914) 683-8600
