New York City Opera
The New York City Opera hosts its annual Fall Gala this November, this time to celebrate the welcoming of Charles R. Wall to the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The event will be hosted at The Waldorf Astoria, beginning with a cocktail hour in the newly renovated Vanderbilt Room. Moving to the Empire Room for dinner, dessert, and dancing, guests will also be treated to performances by Rod Gilfry, Laquita Mitchell, Melody Moore and Taylor Stayton from next season’s productions. Best of all, proceeds from the night will support the opera’s mission to create innovative productions and bring music into the lives of NYC public school students through education programs.
