Beginnings have an intrinsic possibility for greatness, and there is no greater beginning than January. Rejuvenation or renewed commitments in love, health, beauty, and personal endeavors are all possible, and it's little surprise that one of my favorite inspirational idioms can be traced to a New York newspaper The Syracuse Herald, September 1911: "Then good luck. And remember the sky's the limit." Welcome to the New Year and our homage to the great spirit of New York and to those who continue to create beauty at Such Great Heights.

Renamed The Top of the Standard (always Boom Boom to us), the glittering jewel of New York nightlife served as the quintessential venue for classically trained opera singer Sasha Lazard's performance.
