The elegant Edit townhouse, co-founded by Alissa Emerson and Valerie Feigen, has been a Carnegie Hill gem since it opened its doors, and it just keeps getting better. True to its name, the boutique offers an exquisitely curated collection of labels. The shop’s recent tribute to designer Jason Wu had all the uptown and downtown girls flooding in for an endless stream of Moet cocktails, while outside the rain poured down.

The boutique’s online editor Sabine Heller, and girl about town, Serena Merriman – Heller describes Merriman as “actor, fashion publicist, writer, filmmaker and voice-over artist” – dished on an impressive line up featuring Derek Lam, Anya Hindmarch and ‘It’ British stylist, Frances Tulk-Hart. Co-hosting the event along with owners Alissa and Valerie (and their dogs, of course) were Kate Davidson Hudson and Joann Pailey, both dressed in Jason Wu, merrily discussing the trends at Paris Fashion Week.
