Discreetly located at 116 Tenth Avenue - if you blink you’ll miss it - is Avenue, one of New York’s most romantic and stylish nightlife venues. Owner Noah Tepperberg refers to it as a “gastro lounge” with dimmed, rose-hued lighting, ample seating, and a dramatic entrance that makes guests feel like they are walking the runway at Bryant Park. Celebrity watching is ample, but staying true to Avenue’s “no tell” policy, we won’t breathe a word of who we’ve seen slipping in and out of our favorite Thursday night spot. A nightclub where conversation can be heard, the food is delicious, dancing is allowed, and the staff unfailingly polite? Enough reason to get off the street and sink into Avenue.
