Versace Unveils Etoile De La Mer Eyewear Collection

Are you a Versace siren? Donatella Versace hosted an exclusive dinner earlier this week at the gastronomically exquisite Restaurant Lasserre in Paris.

A coterie of decidedly stylish dinner guests such as Anna Wintour, Daphne Guinness, Hamish Bowles, Haider Ackerman, Gaia Repossi, Salma Hayek, Suzy Menkes and Karlie Kloss attend to support Donatella with the launch of the latest Versace eyewear collection.

Donatella’s inspiration—to capture the same sensibility as the spring/summer 2012 Women’s prêt-a-porter collection shown at Milan last year. The designs capture the essence of the true Versace siren, surviving a hot summer in the city wearing Étoile De La Mer eyewear.

The capsule collection will feature two sunglasses and one optical pair in shades of pastels, and Versace will launch Étoile De La Mer eyewear in stores worldwide this March. The advertising campaign will feature the ever alluring Gisele Bündchen.
