Shlomit Ofir Opens New Store in Tel-Aviv

Two years ago, Shlomit Ofir graduated with a degree in industrial design. Realizing her true passion did not lie with designing creative kitchenware or lounge chairs, she decided to follow her heart and become a jewelry designer. Soon afterwards, the success of her online Etsy store propelled her to start her own namesake label and open a store/design studio at the heart of Tel-Aviv.

“The interior design of the store was all done by me, to correspond with the general aesthetic of the pieces and, of course, to provide a unique shopping experience to all my customers”, says Ofir, and in deed, the Shlomit Ofir store boasts high ceilings, minimal antique-inspired furniture and pastel coated walls, serving as a serene, elegant backdrop for her delicate, feminine designs. Fans of Ofir’s unique designs were surely happy to hear she recently launched a garment collection called DETAILS which, like her jewelry, is all handmade in Israel by the designer herself and her small team.

Ofir’s handmade jewelry collections include necklaces, rings, bracelets, brooches, combs and metal headbands made of or plated in silver, gold, brass or plies, and sometimes include pearls or other semi-precious stones. Though she launches cohesive collections three times a year, having her design studio and shop in the same space ensures that new pieces are created and offered on a daily basis.

The best place to get your hands on Shlomit Ofir’s original pieces is of course her store, located at 10 Hillel Ha’Zaken Street, Tel-Aviv.  However, a number of stores throughout Israel, the US, France and Australia carry her collections.
