Roy Teeluck’s New York Story: The Long and Short of It

Looks like Roy Teeluck’s slight address switch was spot on! His chic salon is now smack-dab in the hub of glamour—New York’s East 57^th Street, just across from Tiffany’s (and not far from his previous location). The world-renowned hairstylist, often called “an architect with scissors,” has come a long way since his career began 25 years ago at a small London suburb salon. He developed his signature style in Paris before moving to NYC in 1989 to establish his name and client base. From there he ventured to Beverly Hills, quickly cultivating a celebrity clientele (he and his staff style for Oscar fashion previews). Teeluck’s New York salon, established in 2003, has maintained its own devoted following with a repeat customer list that includes Olivia Palermo (credit one of Teeluck’s staffers with her recent long bob and glowing highlights!).

In other words, with a fresh and contemporary design, this new venue is the ultimate place to get pampered and receive star-worthy service. Roy and his staff are determined that every woman leave the salon feeling empowered and beautiful—I have experienced it! Be sure to plan ahead, as all stylists are booked weeks in advance! I look forward to visiting the salon (again) during my next trip to the city!
