Nicole Miller and Indego Africa Team Up

Nicole Miller and nonprofit Indego Africa have joined forces to create an exquisite jewelry line. The multi-colored fair-trade textile bangles and woven bracelets are co-designed with, and handcrafted by, the remarkable Rwandan artisans at co-ops in Africa. A special launch of the line will be held at the designer’s Soho boutique at 77 Greene Street on Thursday October 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fifteen percent of the event’s proceeds will be donated to Indego Africa’s groundbreaking business, literacy, and training programs that help empower the women of Rwanda. You’ll have the opportunity to purchase some dazzling pieces of jewelry and hear a special performance by Cape Verdean singer Fantcha as well.
