Everything’s coming up roses! With the first signs of spring appearing at last, Paris is abloom with rose hues, scents, and products.

Here, you don’t have to settle for smelling the roses; you can taste them too! Paris’ most famous ice cream shop, Berthillon, offers a delectable frambroise à la rose (rose-flavored raspberry) sorbet.  While my neighborhood cupcake shop (très important, bien sûr) serves up rose-flavored cupcakes, you can indulge in scrumptious rose macarons at Ladurée.  Of course, France’s favorite way to say “bonjour” to the warmer months is to enjoy a bottle of rosé under the sun.  Try a bottle from Provence’s Domaines Ott or Domaine Houchart.

For petal-soft skin, turn to Kiehl’s French Rosewater (with real petals!), Mario Badescu’s Rose Hips Mask, and Red Roses Bath Oil from Jo Malone–made from seven of the world’s most expensive rose varieties, it will make you think you’re bathing in a rose garden!

Though Wonderland’s Queen of Hearts supposedly only liked her roses red, roses of all colors are in vogue this season.  My favorites include the rosy-gold shade of this Lumière de Rose Highlight from Chantecaille and Dior’s petal-pink Crème de Rose Lip Balm.
