Karl Lagerfeld Latest Short Film: “The Tale Of A Fairy”

Karl Lagerfeld is a man of many talents, and his latest project, “The Tale Of A Fairy,” is a 30-minute film starring Anna Mouglalis (Chanel ambassadress), Freja Beha Erichsen, Baptiste Giabiconi, and Brad Koening among other muses of the French house. The short film will depict Karl’s Cruise collection for the brand and, as he puts it, the film is about the misuse of money, which starts with violence and ends with feelings.

It seems that the French Riviera is the place to be. Cannes in particular, but not only for the upcoming Film Festival but also for Chanel’s new “Boutique Ephemère” on the famed Boulevard de la Croisette ongoing until the 22^nd of May. The pop-up boutique carries vintage gowns by Coco Chanel herself and Lagerfeld among many other masterpieces. In other words, it’s any woman’s nirvana.

Today, Chanel presented their Cruise 2012 collection at the prestigious Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Rock at the Cap D’Antibes and the film was also screened for the occasion.

For the rest of us, the “The Tale Of A Fairy” will air on www.chanel.com tomorrow (10^th May) at 9pm CET. For now, all we have is this preview…
