Join Forces with M.A.C. Cosmetics’ Wonder Woman Collection

We can always count on M.A.C. Cosmetics to come up with something flashy and fun. So it’s little wonder that its latest line revolves around an iconic comic book heroine who epitomizes girl power! The Wonder Woman collection pushes the packaging envelope with its bright, bold colors that reflect the DC Comics character’s costuming, and the playful mix is expected to exceed M.A.C.’s Hello Kitty and Barbie themes in terms of popularity.

As Karen McTier, executive vice president at Warner Bros. Consumer Products, told WWD,            “Wonder Woman is one of the most enduring female characters in all of popular culture and the perfect choice for this collaboration.”

On the menu are eye shadow palettes featuring pinks, purples, and blues; “lipglass” and lipsticks in four glamorous shades; mineralized skinfinish powders with a soft shimmery effect; nail lacquers in red and blue; Opulash mascara in green, purple, black, and blue; and a brush set, complete with golden leather case and official Wonder Woman tag!

“People are fascinated by the power of transformation,” James Gager, senior vice president and creative director of M.A.C. Worldwide, reported to WWD. M.A.C.’s Wonder Woman debuts February 10 in the U.S. and in Europe and the rest of the world in March, and it’s rumored that the new line could generate retails sales of $20 million.
