Jason Wu for Target Celebrates Launch in New York

Forget Valentine’s Day, February 5^th has become the noted number of preference on next month’s calendar, as Wu continues to woo everyone with the highly anticipated launch of Jason Wu for Target.  Thursday evening Wu and Target invited industry insiders, celebrities and friends to enjoy an evening of private shopping and celebration.

With a special performance by Yelle and tunes by DJ Harley Viera-Newton, guests got first shopping dibs on the collection.  Gossip Girl Blake Lively, Shameless Emmy Rossum, Chloe Moretz, Jaime King, Tati Cotliar, Kelly Bensimon, Sky Nellor, Tyson Beckford, and stylish blogger Kelly Framel from The Glamourai, all turned out for the shopping debut.

Mr. Wu has been very busy in the last twelve month’s; he accepted the Future of Fashion award at the YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund during the Geoffrey Beene National Scholarship Awards dinner this month.  Last summer Wu collaborated with Brazilian shoe brand, Melissa, and created fabulous faucets with Brizo.
