J. Lindeberg Spring/Summer 2013

Swedish brand and Spring Street alum J. Lindeberg showed their Spring/Summer 2013 collection in the form of a presentation turned book party during New York Fashion Week. Taking place in a stark white space at Pier 59, the event began with an Instagram worthy background as the sun set over the Hudson.

Long hailed for its tailored menswear, this year J. Lindeberg added a few looks for the ladies—the first time the brand brings womenswear to North America. The collection’s theme was “Sweden from Above,” turning inspiration from the country’s aerial-view landscape into a neutral color palette with pops of blue and orange. Loads of leather also made for stylish motorcycle jackets and sheath dresses.

Along with the presentation was the launch of the J. Lindeberg Biannual Book, Volume VII. Photographed in Times Square, the extremely limited edition coffee table book (just 70 copies available!) is a beautiful collection of black and white images taken by photographer Peter Lindbergh.
