Ivanka: “My love for the classic aesthetic helped propel my vision.”

Ivanka Trump has that rare combination of steely business acumen and a deeply formed aesthetic sensibility honed by her love of architecture. Combined, those talents make unstoppable force. Her jewelry line, Ivanka Trump Collection, was founded in 2006, is a collection of fine diamonds with exquisite Art Deco-style detailing. They are heirloom pieces, she says. The collection won rave reviews, and is available now in over 40 doors in the US, with a flagship boutique in New York. Like her father, Donald Trump, there is no stopping a genetic predilection for business ventures. Expansion is already on the horizon: boutiques will be opening across the globe from from Beijing to Bahrain, a shoe and bag line launches in the Spring… All while juggling a key role in her father’s real estate firm and work for the UN. Pink Memo catches up with her for a rare peak inside one of the great business minds of the next generation.
