New York contributor Melissa Whitworth is a British born, New York-based features, fashion and lifestyle writer. On loan from The Daily Telegraph newspaper where her role as US Fashion and Lifestyle Editor keeps her busy, Melissa will be also gracing the pages of PinkMemo.

Melissa's writing career began at the The Times of London where she worked on the Arts desk. Proving to be a fantastic foundation for the world of glossy journalism, Melissa then moved to UK Harpers Bazaar where she spent two years on their features and travel desk, before moving to New York for Britain's broadsheet, The Daily Telegraph, in 2001.

During her nine years based in the NY bureau, Melissa has kept writing on a freelance basis for Harpers Bazaar, as well as contributing to UK and US Glamour, ES Magazine, The Daily Mail, Departures and Grazia magazine. Melissa has written cover stories on Rachel Weisz, Christy Turlington, Miranda Kerr, Gisele Bundchen, Doutzen Kroes and Jessica Stam. She has also interviewed Alice Cooper, Bobbi Brown, Andre Balazs, Georgina Chapman, Lauren Bacall, Emily Mortimer and Tamara Mellon to name just a few. She has appeared on MSNBC, ABC and Fox News.
