Born and raised in Southern California, Kristie Russell traded the sunny beaches of California for the bright lights of New York City to pursue a career in fashion. After attending NYC's prominent fashion school, F.I.T., Kristie began her fashion journey by working for top luxury brands Bergdorf Goodman and Fendi. After years of learning the ins-and-outs of retail, Kristie began designing websites for friends and family on the side. As a self-taught web designer, Kristie's hobby became more than just a recreational side job when she founded the fashion website, StatesofLuxury.com.
