Currently the Style Contributor for CBS News' "The Early Show," this Pennsylvania native and self-admitted shoe addict (she stopped counting at 536 pairs) grew up color coordinating her closet, presenting Barbie fashion shows to an elite audience of stuffed animals, and dreaming of being the next Barbara Walters. As a teenager, she convinced her parents to let her model in New York and Tokyo, but fearing brain atrophy, she left the catwalks for college and graduated from Harvard with honors in English Literature. Yet, the siren songs of pop culture continued to call. She snagged an internship with CNN's political investigation unit in Washington, DC and then another with “Style with Elsa Klensch" in New York City. She went on to hold senior roles at Vogue, GQ, UsWeekly and InStyle magazines, but has since immersed herself exclusively in broadcast and new media. In addition to her roles at CBS and PinkMemo, she is a regular on “The View,” "Showbiz Tonight," Fox News and TBS, and she serves as lifestyle contributor for Ideeli. She has interviewed everyone from Yohji Yamamoto and Oleg Cassini to Justin Timberlake and Denzel Washington, and she has shared the small screen with her childhood idol, Barbara Walters, on numerous occasions (not to mention Larry King and Bill O'Reilly).
