Hayley Hamilton is the founder and president of Dallas Uncorked, a not-for-profit organization devoted to bringing educational and entertaining wine events to the Dallas community. Since its inception in 2003, she has continued to inspire an appreciation and passion for wine throughout the city and beyond. Originally a self-taught connoisseur, Hayley's extensive research on wineries, varietals, food pairings and the art of tasting benefits members in developing a well-rounded knowledge of the subject. In 2005 she continued her wine education by completing the International Sommelier Guild's Wine Fundamentals Certification. She has expanded her wine knowledge through study and travel, and her favorite regions are Napa and Sonoma, California; Mendoza, Argentina; Veneto, Italy; Willamette Valley, Oregon; and British Columbia's Okanagan. Hayley's a constant entertainer, and can often be found in the kitchen with her sweetheart, Gary, creating dinner parties for friends, which she writes about on her blog, Dallas Uncorked Wines and Dines. Outside of her love for Gary, wine, writing, and travel, her love goes to her precious Jack Russell/Shih Tzu pup, Yoda. She's thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to PinkMemo.
