ELIZABETH O’MAHONY
Dallas
Elizabeth discovered fashion as a child when she raided her mother’s closet for high heels and costume jewelry. Her passion for “dressing up” was put on hold when she became a hippie at The University of California Santa Cruz where she studied anthropology, literature, and photography. A Dallas native, Elizabeth returned home and worked as a curatorial assistant at the Dallas Museum of Art before going to Columbia University in New York City to get her masters in English Education. Being in NYC and shopping in her favorite boutiques awakened Elizabeth’s interest and passion for fashion and design. Although she would go on to teach high school English and Journalism in NYC and later in Dallas, she was always looking for an outlet to channel her love for fashion and design and usually fulfilled it by buying, or collecting, everything from shoes to vintage jewelry. While pregnant with her first daughter, Elizabeth became co-owner of a local boutique and learned a lot about the industry. The mother of two daughters, Elizabeth provides fashion consulting with her business bonVIVANT Consulting. Elizabeth loves being an entrepreneur and helping men and women find their own unique style.
