Dana was born in Costa Rica 23 years ago, and was raised in Israel, Argentina, Peru and the US. This has made her fluent in three languages, but more importantly, it accounts for her having over 750 friends on Facebook. These days, Dana is a single-mother raising her two children*, Homer and Professor Bananas, in Israel while earning her degree in Communications and Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In order to put cat-food on the table, she works as a licensed Hebrew, English and Spanish translator. Dana has gained experience writing for Israeli and European print media as well as radio programs. In the past, her writing focused mainly on political issues, but her heart was always on shoes, handbags, and the aforementioned cats. In addition, she recently completed an internship with "At"- one of Israel's most prominent women's magazines. Dana enjoys creating fun, colorful looks and even dabbles in fashion design. This involves carrying a sketch pad and an .08 pencil everywhere she goes. This summer, Dana will intern at Yigal Azrouël and Angel Sanchez in New York City, and, most likely, spend all that translation money on shoes.
