Asema Ali Ahmed is President of Magnolias Linens, LLC, a custom event decor company that produces specialty fabrics, linens and custom items. Magnolias has been featured in many editorials, such as Wall Street Journal, New York Times and featured as one of House & Gardens "Top 50" designers. Creating fabrics for clients and hotels all over the world and for anyone who wants a fabulous party, Asema has become an expert in entertaining and design. Magnolias recently provided the custom linens for Chelsea Clinton's wedding. Asema is a graduate of Georgetown University where she completed a Masters degree, and New York University where she received a Bachelor of Arts. Asema is married to Ozi Amanat, portfolio manager, and daughter of Drs. Anjum & Pervez Ahmed, and granddaughter of the fifth President of India, Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed. Asema and her husband are dedicated to causes such as the Seeds of Peace, where Ozi serves as a board member, as well as Mt. Sinai Hospital. Asema's proudest achievement is her son, Kayan. Asema was recently featured in Elle Magazine's Workbook.
