What Goes Around Comes Around…in L.A.

These words rang true last week as Saint Laurent couture resurfaced at the vintage hub, What Goes Around Comes Around on La Brea and 3^rd.  The entire store was a flutter with clotheshorses and vintage vagabonds alike.  The night was the ultimate celebration for this upcoming fall season.  Not only did the couture line, Saint Laurent Paris make a revival launch, but nail company extraordinaire, NCLA debuted their new line for fall with limited edition winter lacquer collections.

The original Saint Laurent Paris Collection has been turning heads since the label dropped Yves name for their take on ready-to-wear collections.  Keeping to its true fashion heritage, the Saint Laurent brand provides shoppers with signature splashes of color and gorgeous prints the brand is most noted for.

To throw a little twist in the evening, the store, not only hosted a revival of fashion royalty, they also presented a spectacular nail line – NCLA Manicures.  Helming from its native town of Los Angeles, the iconic NCLA was launched early last year. Taking inspiration from catwalk couture and the eclectic mix of LA’s unique culture, these colors add the perfect pop!  Available at boutique chains ranging from Kitson to Harvey Nichols, the brand can also be found at megastore, Nordstroms.  Everyone simply could not wait to get their hands on this fabulous brand.

Cupcakes, cocktails, and clothes were the items offered up on the menu, as the DJ mixed tunes spanning from 70’s classics, to top 40′s, and fashionistas talked shop and reveled at the racks upon racks of fabulous clothes.  Manicurists also offered custom, hand-painted designs inspired by Saint Laurent Paris at the event.
