Eloise Lapidus Follows in Father’s Footsteps

Does the last name Lapidus ring a bell? Well it should, because the late French designer Ted Lapidus was the first to use jeans in a runway show, create unisex fashion, and make the military look more mainstream.

Now his daughter, Eloise Lapidus, is launching her first collection titled BoBo House. The name comes from the French term “Bourgeois-bohème.” Lapidus’ 13- piece debut sportswear collection features cool t-shirts and nautical inspired pieces with a Paris meets LA vibe.

The line is very representative of Eloise. Born in Paris, she graduated from the University of California at Berkley and now calls Los Angeles home. The casualness of LA mixed with the fashion of Paris is what inspires her.

If her dad’s success is any clue to what this Lapidus has in store, she is certainly one to watch. Look for BoBo House in stores this spring.
