And to get straight to the source, we headed to Neiman Marcus NorthPark’s resident Candy Bar, where Lauren herself talked candy (of course), holidays, and style.

In a denim-on-denim ensemble, Lauren smiled and chatted as girls of all ages (and we mean all—from a sweet 6-year-old in chic red shoes to a styling mommy in killer Lanvin boots) hugged her colorful new book to their chests. It’s immediately apparent that this drop-dead-gorgeous CEO has inherited her father’s sense of style, but a couple of minutes with her warrants some extra praise: she’s also learned how to build a long-lasting brand.
