Whether she’s interviewing Robert Pattinson and Drew Barrymore, covering fashion shows, or giving us the latest trends in food and fitness, her bubbly personality and unabashedly feminine style make her the kind of woman you want to watch.
A self-described "dress girl", Proter prefers the cinched waists and pretty prints of Ella Moss, Nanette Lepore and DVF on her hourglass figure. Not that she cares about the name: "I’m not a label person, I love everything from vintage and thrift finds to Anthropologie. To me it’s more about finding a color or pattern that works for your body." That means a piece of gold jewelry and a cool clutch for Spring, such as her current favorite, a bright fuschia Elaine Turner bag. While Proter claims she "wishes she were funkier" when it comes to fashion choices, we think her feminine appeal is perfect.
And, Proter knows what women want when it comes to lifestyle. Recognizing that her favorite time of the week was Friday morning when she could catch up with a girlfriend and make plans for the weekend, she knew her idea would sell.
