Bold prints, fluid lines, and rustic textures meet functional, luxurious essentials this fall, while accessories like patterned scarves, colorful coats and throwback hats (think Jermyn Street meets St-Germain-des-Pres) become noteworthy standards. It’s a season for statements—where appealing combinations adhere to the more-is-merrier motto and fashion loosens up. Below PinkMemo dishes on what Dallas insiders are deeming both new and noteworthy sensations. |

Hemline
The colors and collections are bursting with feminine and flirty details over at Hemline this fall. The recently opened boutique carries ex-Betsey Johnson Creative Director Yoanna Baraschi’s line, which compliments the already stellar compilation of spirited, quirky labels like Kensie, Karlie and Matty M. Having studied in France, Baraschi employs the inspirations and techniques derived from her time at Emmanuelle Khan and Mario Valentino by creating modern shapes with pretty extras like flowing ruffles, punchy prints, delicate lace and ribbon.

Melanie Gayle
Found Denim, Alley Row and Bravo NY are arguably some of the best new finds at Melanie Gayle. Denim lovers will embrace the juxtaposition of French-new-wave meets open-road-Americana, with a couture denim line that supports the rock star trend in droves. Created by Laura Cretz and Sara Watson—formerly of Chip and Pepper, AG Jeans and Hudson combined—the silhouettes embrace fine tailoring, superior materials and charming idiosyncrasies like uneven stitching and wash. Also on hand are Alley Row’s cozy and wearable dresses and Bravo NY’s luxurious line of Mongolian cashmere, which is sold exclusively at the store.

Scoop NYC
Having their finger on the pulse of fashion makes Scoop NYC’s newest lines a no-brainer for fall. First up, Riller & Font’s casual line of easy, comfortable dresses and tees take you from the Nasher Sculpture Center on a chilly afternoon to the Brooklyn Jazz Café for cocktails and cavorting. Wear under or above any of this season’s short jackets or sweaters, or do as the Scoop girls do and pair the silky, filmy dresses with a warm and wooly scarf from Goddis.

FortyFiveTen
Swarming with new lines and looks is McKinney Avenue’s ultra-hip FortyFiveTen. Jasmine DiMilo’s “Being” collection caters to the sophisticated hipster via a structurally pleated and pronounced silhouette, while Golden Goose’s Italian-made boots (slouchy, urban and perfectly distressed) require nothing but jeans and tee. French designer Sophie Theallet’s beautifully draped satin dresses, color-blocked cardigans and chic, tailored skirts even out the tally of bold and beautiful designs.
