Mother and daughter Judy and Jane Aldridge have shot into style stardom with their respective blogs, Atlantis Home and Sea of Shoes, but while the rest of the world watches as they document their latest purchases, favorite outfits, day-to-day activities, and of course shoes, the Dallas crowd gets to see their bold style choices on the streets. |

PinkMemo met with the fashionable pair at (where else?) the Barneys shoe department to talk shop. As Jane pondered over cap toe vs. open toe Margiela ankle boots (yellow cap toes won) and they tried on identical tri-tone Comme des Garcons brogues, their charm and eclectic styles made it clear why they have a cult following on the blogosphere, garnering tens of thousands of hits a day.
Both Jane and Judy mix and match everything from Junya Watanabe, vintage YSL and Salvation Army finds in a way all their own. For instance, soon after I spoke to Jane, she posted a blog illustrating how she topped those Margiela boots off with a Zara sweatshirt, vintage ankh necklace and Kansai Yamamato Aviator skirt.
