Deep Ellum’s beloved Green Room restaurant recently reopened its kitchen doors with executive chef Joel Harloff and hosted the kick-off event for the 2010 March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction on June 8th. Co-chairs Brynn and Taylor Allday and Sue and Britt Fair formally announced the auction theme, “Angels & Aces” and their goal to raise $450,000. The Signature Chefs Committee Chairs include: Sponsorship co-chairs Alan Wood and Jay Bell; Culinary co-chairs Anita Braun and Shannon Brame, and Vintners co-chairs Diane and Michael McNulty and Shelle and Michael Sills. Guests such as JB Hayes, Dallas Division Executive Director Julie Whitsitt, Susan Spain, Kristi Bare, and Kristen Johnson sipped and nibbled as they stayed out of the summer heat. Stay tuned for the October auction at the Frontiers of Flight Museum, which will include enough wine and Kent Rathbun cooked delights to keep the Dallasites partying late into the night.
