The Family Place announced the annual recipients of their Trailblazer Awards at a reception hosted by Medical City Children's Hospital. Executive Director of The Family Place, Paige Flink, welcomed the three honorees: Nancy Lieberman will receive the Trailblazer Award, which recognizes a local woman who has opened doors for other women; Charlie McKinney will receive the Man of Influence Award, which recognizes a North Texan who is leading by example to make domestic violence a "community issue" rather than a "women's issue"; and Hitachi Consulting will receive the Family Place Advocacy Award, which recognizes an organization that has played a vital role in the mission of The Family Place to stop the suffering of victims of family violence.
There to help honor the recipients were JB Hayes, co-chair for the Trailblazer luncheon Angela Nash, Family Place board members Joyce Goss, Keenan Delany, Paige Nash and more.
