Hamish Bowles the European Editor-at-Large for VOGUE magazine will give a lecture entitled The Fashion Connoisseur at the Meadow's Museum on Thursday, May 10th at 5:30pm.  The lecture is free, but seating is limited and only available on a first-come, first-served basis. So please make sure to arrive early. After the lecture Stanley Korshak will host a party benefiting The Fashionistas in the courtyard from 7-9pm, tickets to this event are $100 each and will be available for purchase at: www.TheFashionistas.org

DALLAS INTERNATIONAL FASHION WEEK – Fashion Frenzy
The fashion buzz continues in Dallas, as Dallas Market Center announces the launch of Dallas International Fashion Week in October from 20-26th, during the Spring/Summer 2008 market week. The event will showcase Spring/Summer 2008 collections enclosed in a 50,000 sq ft fashion theater located within the Grand Pavilion at the Trade Mart. A pre-show lounge complete with a bar, DJ booth, plasma monitors and of course a 72-foot runway stage that will be surrounded by reserved and VIP seating.

The runway fashion extravaganza will be open to the public and attendees will have the opportunity to experience pre-season shows that are usually reserved for fashion industry insiders. DMC promises to tantalize our fashion senses with runway celebrity-studded appearances, after-parties and charity-fundraiser trunk shows. More details to come!!
