Warren Barrón's "A Big Give for the Big Day"
Warren Barrón Bridal will celebrate its 2nd year anniversary by giving back to the community and giving BIG! The boutique is asking friends or family to nominate a deserving bride of a special wedding package. Not only will Warren Barrón provide the winning bride-to-be with $7,000 towards a gown and veil of her choice, the boutique has called upon local partners, such as Scott Hagar Photography, Elixir Entertainment, Highland Park Village, Jerry Szor Contemporary Jewelry, Cymbidium, Watters, Paper & Chocolate, and Society Bakery to further enhance the big day. All finalists will receive a special bridal gift and will be invited to a champagne reception on September 2nd at 6:30p.m. for the big announcement.

Entries must be 300 typed words or less and include your name and contact information (address, phone, email), and the nominated bride's name and contact information. Submissions are due by Sunday, August 10th.

The Dallas Contemporary invites you to enjoy the Click Chicks+ & Mix! & Hallworks exhibition featuring international women photographers, and includes paintings by Inki Min and collage work by Shelley Hampe. The exhibition, which includes artists such as Naomi Harris from New York, Nathalie Latham from Australia, Moira Lovell from England and Kyung Duk Kim from South Korea among other international artists is on display until August 23rd.

Fashion + Art at Light & Sie
Light & Sie, an exhibition space for cutting edge, international contemporary art is proud to present two debut exhibits by artists Howard Fonda and James Gilbert. Chicago-based painter Fonda presents a series of brightly colored works in a collection entitled "You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine". From Los Angeles-based artist Gilbert comes an installation of "soft sculptures" that represent haute couture garments in his exhibition, "I Know Everything About You, and We Haven't Met".
