FASHION WEEK LIVE
March 6th

Experience the excitement and energy of New York Fashion Week in Dallas! IMG, presents FashionWeekLive, an exclusive industry event and once in a lifetime opportunity to view the Fall 2007 collections right on your own doorstep. The Dallas event held in the heart of downtown at Victory Park on March 6th will provide a glittering evening underneath the fashion tents for a night of chic and style.

A champagne reception will kick-off the event which will feature fashion industry stars like Naomi Campbell, Gemma Ward, Caroline Winberg and others.

Fern Mallis, Vice President of IMG notes the locations as "among the most fashion savvy cities in the world." The event launches in Dallas on March 6th, followed by Houston March 8th, Chicago March 13th and San Francisco March 15th. FashionWeekLive is produced by IMG, presented by Sephora, and sponsored by: Swarovski, Mercedes-Benz, LYCRA®, DHL, and Moët & Chandon.

BALENCIAGA EXHIBITION AND SYMPOSIUM AT SMU

For all Haute Couture fans of Balenciaga and the fashionably inclined make sure you visit The Texas Fashion Collection’s exhibition of ‘Balenciaga and His Legacy’. Starting February 4th thru May 27th at the Meadows Museum this exhibition is the first presented in the U.S. in over 20 years. Diane Vreeland presented the previous show in the early 1980’s for the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute. So with that said, make sure that this U.S. venue for the Balenciaga Exhibit is on your calendar!

And if the exhibition doesn’t quench your fashionable thirst then make sure you attend The Balenciaga Symposium, an all day event that will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, at Caruth Auditorium in the Owen Arts Center, 6101 Bishop Blvd. Fabulous guest speakers include:
