Form Follows Fitness 5K
Dallas Center for Architecture has architected an ingenious idea, a charity event which encourages fitness and education, all in an enjoyable manner, a 5K run! This run, or walk if you prefer, features some of Dallas' highest-quality architecture along its course, with views of buildings designed by award-winning architects. If you do prefer to walk, a guided tour is also an option, allowing those power-walkers to soak up as much information as possible. Teams are encouraged to register and will be eligible for team awards, like fastest or best dressed. The 5K will begin at One Arts Plaza and the restaurants near by, along with the sponsors, will be providing food and drink specials and live entertainment. The proceeds will benefit the DCFA, which invented public walking tours concentrating on architecture. So run, or walk, down to the Arts District for some fitness, education and fun!
