It's that seasonal shift Dallasites look forward to every year - the cooler months. The time of year when it's bearable to at least begin to think of adding some favorite Fall pieces to our wardrobes. Pieces that - let's be honest - were probably purchased around July. And isn't that the art of fashion? Always looking forward and ahead with both optimism and anticipation to the next exhilarating collection. In both the fashion and the art worlds, September is the month where the parties are nonstop and the champagne is ever-bubbling, right through the holiday season. So raise a glass, because this month saw quite an array of fantastic fetes with the gift bags to show for it - and even more fabulous outfits.

And what's a better kickoff than Dallas's very own Fashion's Night Out? On Friday, September 10, our city threw its own version of the New York City soiree celebrating all that is haute. The spotlight event was the store-opening party of the much-anticipated Christian Louboutin boutique in Highland Park Village. Hosted by Myrna Schlegel, Kari Schlegel, Krystal Schlegel, and Kimberly Schlegel Whitman, the invitation (sparkling in its own right) invited guests to join and celebrate an evening of champagne and tiaras with an appearance from lifestyle guru Steve
