Later in the night, a raffle gave guests including Kim Fischer and George DeJohn the opportunity to win a several glam grand prizes including a trip to Sardinia, dinner for six at Arcodoro & Pomodoro, a Grey Goose & Golf gift basket, autographed bottles of Efix Prosecco, and more. The evening was an elegant affair, leaving attendees yearning for their next Sardinian supper right here in Texas amidst the restaurant's artful atmosphere. Speaking of elegant and charitable Texan soirees, the newly founded Society of Young Philanthropists Dallas chapter held a gala on May 22nd at the new 161 Glass Street location of the Dallas Contemporary with proceeds benefiting Genesis Women's Shelter. Over 300 guests including Daniel Crouch, Sarah Calodney, Kristin Denbow, Brooke Burnett, Jonathan Shokrian, Rachel Watkins, and Jane Aldridge joined SYP's founding board Elishia Bolour, Eric Lyons, Halle Smith, Liz Healy, Kent Arnold, Lindsey Crouch, Blair Quick, the Dallas Cowboys' Miles Austin, and Genesis Women's Shelter's Executive Director Jan Langbein, for an evening of cocktails, music, and a silent auction which alone raised $8,000. The evening raised a total of $15,000 towards the goal of $25,000 the group aspires to raise this year for the Genesis Women's Shelter.
