Excuse the tawdry adage, but everything is bigger in Texas. Just ask Oscar winner Hilary Swank—I spotted her over Super Bowl weekend in a T-shirt scrawled with the saying! February had me running (through icy streets!) from sporty soirees to charitable luncheons, such as Dallas’ annual kickoff to the social season—the Saint Valentine’s Day Luncheon and Fashion Show benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. From there, I jetted off to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for a lesson in Fall fashion, and got back just in time to celebrate spring at PinkMemo’s very own Boho Chic Spring Trend Event at Neiman Marcus Downtown. |

Super Bowl XLV weekend was more like a week, kicking off with the host committee’s Welcome To Texas barbeque bonanza at House of Blues, featuring tunes from the Old ‘97s. Jerry Jones actually commandeered HOB for the entire week. One bash featured Jamal Sims-choreographed dance routines by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and a concert by rapper Drake, followed by
