The goal was to engage a cheeky rabble-rouser to rock the world’s loudest and sexiest airline. Hipsters around the country answered the call by submitting an audition video to the airline’s promotional website. The standout from the start was Internet darling Casie Stewart. Virgin America not only found its Provocateur—it found awesome.

PinkMemo caught up with Stewart at the W Hotel to get the scoop on her new endorsement gig and her personal brand.

PM: What is your favorite perk about being the Virgin America Provocateur?

CS: Free flights!

PM: What would you say sets Virgin American Airlines apart from other airlines?

CS: In flight wi-fi, roomy leather seats, mood lighting, in-flight entertainment, and a forward-thinking staff.

PM: While in Dallas, what did you enjoy the most?

CS: Getting lassoed by a REAL cowboy on the tarmac. So hot.

PM: You are known for your unwavering positive attitude. What are three things someone can do to encourage positivity in their life?

CS: Smile more, think positive thoughts, and give without thinking of receiving. Giving is its own gift.

PM: Do you have a favorite designer? If so, who?

CS: Not really. I’m big on vintage clothes. My mum kept heaps of her clothes and is quite stylish. Luckily, I have a bunch of her old clothes in my wardrobe.

PM: What travel essentials does the Virgin America Provocateur carry on every trip without fail?

CS: An iPad and dodocase, Nella Bella handbag, signature Yoga jeans from Shop Girls Gallery Boutique, Schwarzkopf Dust It mattifying powder, and cowboy boots.
