Tracy Reese: Tasteful Color – Fall 2012

The color palette read like a culinary recipe, confident and bold with colors named lemon, juniper, chestnut, tomato, and carrot—cooking up one tasty collection.  There is no such ailment as the winter blues with Ms. Reese; the Fall 2012 collection exuded colorful charm with a rich mix of textiles and a happy-go-lucky optimism that imposed a sense of feminine and empowered style.

The runway backdrop resembled the artful collaboration of the seasonal mood boards, depicting dashes of violet and Persian blue into the edible color palette.

The front row bequeathed a fine folly of fashionable contenders such as; Louise Row, Kate Mara and Nikki Reed—who all admired the warmth of cowl neck sweaters, jacquard tiered minis, easy shift dresses, and gold laminated skirts.

A shearling trimmed duffle coat in tomato, a chestnut neoprene ponte pant, juniper peplum reefer coat, and Astrakhan jacket produced tailored, sharp, and cozy styles—perfect layering accoutrements for your winter wardrobe.
