Neiman’s Top Ten Women

“Ten Charities, Ten Trends, Ten Outstanding Women” – ten is the lucky number at Neiman Marcus Willow Bend this Thursday, August 20th as the delightful department store honors the Top Ten Women of Collin County. Who are these lucky ladies? Jean Newman, Roseanne Best, Diane Chester, Julie A. Karnes, Christina Andrea, Jenny McCall, Carolyn Speese, Amy Davis, Sherrie Varrichio, and Beth Webb. And luck, in fact, has nothing to do with it – ten Collin County charities selected one outstanding woman each to honor for their community support and charity work.

To thank them for their work in the community, the new Vice President and General Manager of Neiman Marcus, Marcus Wyss, will be treating these wonderful women to an intimate dinner held right at the store the night before. President and CEO of Gittings portraiture studios Barry Benton will reveal personal portraits of the honorees that will be displayed at Neiman’s for the rest of the week.

It’s not just intimate dinners and pretty photos though. You can come out and show your support for the ladies by attending the runway show presented by Chuck Steelman, PR Manger for NM Willow Bend. The runway show will highlight the top ten trends for fall 2009, from motorcycle jackets to accentuated shoulder’s, it’s a show you don’t want to miss. Marcus Wyss will also be joined by Plano Mayor, Phil Dyer, to thank each honoree and present her with a special certificate.
