FGI of Dallas Announces Honorees for the Fashion & Lifestyle Awards ‘Night of Stars’

Did you hear the gossip? Well, it was not so much gossip, it was an announcement of this year’s Fashion Group International of Dallas Honorees for the Fashion & Lifestyle Awards, ‘Night of Stars’, but it did happen in the Gossip Bar at the Hilton Anatole on Wednesday evening.

Bri Crum, Alison Volk, Chuck Steelman (who was sadly out of town, and greatly missed), and myself hosted the honoree announcement party for the 2012 Fashion & Lifestyle Awards ‘Night of Stars’ that will be held on November 16, at the Grand Pavilion at the Trade Mart, Dallas Market Center.

The evening stylishly revealed informal modeling featuring fall fashion from the Roberto Cavalli boutique at NorthPark Center.  It was a sweet fashion fest with designers, Abi Ferrin, Sarah Jones, and Katy Messersmith with Leesa Smith, and beauty queens Susan Posnick, D’Andra Simmons, and Renee Rouleau with Holly Pelham Davis, all in attendance, along with NorthPark Center ladies—Victoria Snee and Angie Milton, Heidi and Bill Dillon who attended with the youngest Fashion Police—Dallas Dillon, Gina Ginsburg, Pamela and Ignacio Martin Duarte, plus FGI Board Members out in full support, Jenny Seide, Rosanne Hart, Susanne Taylor, Ann Schultz, Donna Bender, Jason Stanford and Jennifer de Socarraz.

I am never one to get excited about making public announcements, but I managed to take the helm calmly, microphone in hand, and formally announce all the honorees. I am so excited about this year’s event, my second year as co-chair, and this year with Chuck Steelman, and it’s going to be wonderful! I love fashion and art, as a Board Member for the Dallas Contemporary and Fashion Group International of Dallas, it seems only fitting and natural that this year’s event should focus on the amazing fashion and art talent that we have in Dallas.

The extra special portion of the main event in November will feature the first winner of the SHELLY MUSSELMAN DESIGN AWARD, and Meredith Musselman announced the lucky winner—Cassie Bumpous on Wednesday evening.
