Designing With a Vision

An evening runway show and cocktail party, the American Foundation for the Blind’s Designing With a Vision event is certain to be one vision you don’t want to miss!  The designer for this year’s evening function is Sergey Ermakov, a top Ukrainian couturier who will be holding his premiere US fashion show in Dallas.  Ermakov tragically lost his vision when he developed diabetic retinopathy at the age of eleven and can only see 5% of what is visible to the average person.

Ermakov’s clothes are pieces are treasured and popularly worn by numerous members of the Ukrainian elite. He is living proof that people can “Live Successfully with Vision Loss,” the very framework of the Designing With A Vision mission and event.

The Designing With a Vision event will be held at the Fairmont Hotel on the evening of Friday, April 16^th.  Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available and all proceeds will be donated to the American Foundation for the Blind, a non-profit organization that works to expand opportunities to individuals with vision loss.
