An Affair of the Art Underwriters Party

The Junior Associates Circle of the Dallas Museum of Art hosted the exclusive Underwriters Party on Wednesday, January 25^th for the group’s annual fundraiser, An Affair of the Art. The 19^th annual gala, with a roaring twenties theme supports the future exhibit Youth and Beauty: Art of the American Twenties, opening March 4^th. Due to events such as the gala, the Dallas Museum of Art is a celebrated cultural destination in the heart of the Dallas Arts District.

The Underwriters Party invited members of this young, professional group to learn how their contributions have helped educate and influence the Dallas community in an artistic fashion. An Affair of the Art: Glory of the Age is one of the many events that aid in igniting life-changing relationships between people and art. Events like these also provide valuable financial support in programming, exhibitions and acquisitions that make the museum supreme.

The party was held at the home of Thomas and Alexandra Hicks, Jr., with remarks given by this year’s chairmen Shonn and Clarence Brown. Other attendants include Robert Wetherly, Annika Cail, Carolyn Chinn, and Veronica Roper.
