The DISH on Diep

The second installment of the FASHION DISH series hosted by Thuy Diep, Maxine Trowbridge of PinkMemo, Christen Wilson, and W Dallas – Victory took place yesterday at Craft Dallas with an exclusive appearance by delightful designer Thuy.

Straight from her fabulous fall presentation at New York Fashion Week, Thuy brought forth her glorious spring summer 2009 collection as well as the fall lookbook in order to present a most proper pre-order offer.   She spoke of the inspiration behind her collection, noting the optimism behind her designs drawing from the joy of her recent nuptials and an overall feeling of whimsy and exuberance.

Cuisine was top-notch, as was the clothing, and a chic group of guests including Cindy Rachofsky, Pamela Martin Duarte, Holly Haber, Courtney Tennison, and Jenny Kirtland enjoyed the exclusive affair.  All fawned over the sumptuous fabrics, creative cuts, and exquisite details of Thuy’s gorgeous garments and delighted in meeting the designer during her first visit to Dallas.  Next month’s installment brings designer Yeohlee Teng to present her line YEOHLEE.  Keep thine eye here poised for all the proper dish.

C’est Chloé, of Course!

Leave it to Chloé to create a travel perfume that makes toting both clever, chic, and feminine. Chloé introduces its newest fragrance: Lisy the Travel Purse Spray.  The new fragrance is a flowery version of Chloé’s original eau de parfum, adding rose to the already stellar velvet and powdery interior of the core scent.  Though petite in size, the silver-plated capped glass bottle is packed with posh. Lisy is enclosed in a lovely blush pink leather case that was fashioned after an art deco objet found in London by Chloé Creative Director Hannah MacGibbon.
