RISING STAR AWARDS
Fashion Group International of Dallas presents the Rising Star Awards at the Hotel Palomar on Friday November 9th. These awards recognize emerging talent in the fashion industry as well as career achievements in the Dallas Community. Categories for awards are Art, Beauty, Fashion Design, Fashion Design Accessories and New Community Retailer. Career Achievement honorees for Home & Interiors goes to Jan Showers, Community Recognition for Fashion Innovation goes to Myra Walker for the Texas Fashion Collection and this year's Rising Star Awards Honorary Chair is Janet Kafka the Honorary Consul of Spain. The Award ceremony will begin with cocktails and a silent auction at 7pm followed by dinner at 8pm, hosted by the master of ceremonies, renowned couture designer Michael Faircloth. Tickets are available starting at $125 each and tables of ten at $1,100. Dress is creative black tie for celebrating a creative group of contestants.

SHECKY’S – GIRLS NIGHT OUT

GALLERIA DALLAS 25th ANNIVERSARY
The Galleria is celebrating its 25th birthday this November over 25 days with in store events, celebrity appearances, fashion shows and exhibits. The celebration begins with the Anniversary Party and unveiling of ‘The Dallas 25’ on November 1st from 7pm – 9pm. BILLION DOLLAR BABES
The World’s premier designer sale and invitation only event, otherwise known as “The sample sale to end all sample sales”, debuts in Dallas this December.
