A designer without a celebrity is like the moon without the stars, and from past to present the glamour of iconic style is only significant when juxtaposed between the designer and muse. So hail to this season’s style and to our favorite fashion icons that continue to enchant us: Jackie, Grace, Audrey, Elizabeth, Diana and Marlene.  So lets embrace this wave of style from past eras that reflect designers such as Poiret, Vionnet, and Schiaparelli into the modern day essence of Dior, Givenchy, Lanvin, Chanel and Balenciaga.  And, as our fascination with bygone eras continues, watch out for the next trend towards the Victorian era over the next few seasons with a focus on the Houses of Paquin and Worth.  So while we love and support all that is fashion, lets get back to the emergence of talent right here in Dallas as the search for Texas’ Next Top Designer announces the winner this month.
