As spring turns the corner, Chicago fashionistas are ready to hit the streets to replenish their wardrobes with the newest trends. Sarca, a Gold Coast boutique, offers a number of luxury European labels little known outside their respective countries. Owner Alexis Cozzini grew up traveling between Chicago and Europe (she has family in Italy and Austria), and after working in the Chicago and New York luxury retail sectors for companies such as Chanel and Intermix, she decided to set up shop and bring her favorite European labels home to Chicago. Several European brands, including Eryn Brinie, IMPROVD, and Markus Lupfer, are exclusive to the boutique, and items from Sarca are often spotted on Hollywood celebrities—a trend documented on the shop’s Facebook page.
